finish my scarf

Started in December 2008. Almost long enough. Need to learn how to make some tassely ends!

It turned out great. Such cool yarn I received as a gift. Its feels so good to finish something. My third complete knitting project after many false starts. Now I have to get it in the mail.

I started working on it the other day, but I forgot which row I was on in the pattern (since I had not touched the thing for months) and now it’s a big mess. The scarf will be beautiful when it’s finished, but it’s kinda difficult. I am debating just trashing it and starting a new (simpler) one. I’ll make it nice through the yarn (like cashmere) instead of the pattern.

We’ll see.

Done! Yay! I did it! I actually finished it. Maybe I will get pictures up…..

i’m going to knit my boyfriend a scarf. he is going to find out if he can wear one with his uniform—and if he can, i think i will knit him a black cashmere scarf.

knitted 16 rows today-the first time i’ve picked my knitting up since christmas. Actually I probably knitted more than that because I broke a string, so I had to rip back to the point where the string broke and add more string. I think it made my scarf better-the string was getting to tight to work with (which is probably why it broke). Once I finish this—i plan to start an afghan.
