Complete an MIT OpenCourseWare class

It was awesome being able to use the resources they have in my quest for learning electronics. Especially 6.002’s videos! I feel like I have a much deeper understanding of the fundamentals than I would have had otherwise(Like ih,il,oh and the ol of a chip and the noise immunity these parameters provide.).

OK, I guess I’m cleaning out my goals for now! Let me get back to this once I have other parts of my life in order.

Well, I went to MIT, and it seems a shame not to use the resources available. I’m thinking about a PhD in statistics, but my statistical background is pretty weak, so this is a great idea!

I’m doing SICP as well. I have the online textbook, the lecture videos, and a Scheme environment all set up! All I need now is the willpower to finish. We’ll see what happens.

For Xmas, my wife got me the Probability and Statistics textbook that they use at MIT. Maybe it’s time to take stats, which is work relevant because of its connection to machine learning.

I’m doing SICP.

I’ll do the math one later, though.

Mathematics for Computer Science

I know, I said I was gonna wave bye bye to math for a while but this is just too tempting.

Yay, MIT OpenCourseWare! Let’s see if I’m still saying that in six months’ time.
