Have a Lord of the Rings movie Marathon

tryin to do this but dont know how

Did this yesterday! It was actually kind of cool because I understood the story as a whole a little bit better than having it all chopped up. 3 hours for each movie though… it was a little painful. But it was nice to relax all day on the couch, and at least I can say I did it. _{Ufff… I feel like such a nerd though.}

Tomorrow I’ll set aside the 23 hours needed to get through the movies and do it up.

If you do this, don’t start late at night. It’s painful! Towards the end we were fast-forwarding parts of Return of the King because, at that point, we didn’t care anymore.

On the plus side, at least I can say I’ve done it!

Two of my friends and me got together to do the LOTR extended movie version marathon, and it was great fun! Totally worth doing.

I do suggest however that you don’t start at 10pm, it really sucks. lol

it was great to do the lotr movie marathon. i think it took 12something hours to watch all three extended version movies. completely worth it!! and i might make this an annual thing ^^

When the trilogy (not extended) first came out, I bought it as a reward for my daughter who made honor roll all year in school. We watched all 3 episodes on the first day of summer vacation. I love these movies but couldn’t get through the books. Thank you Peter Jackson!
