What does Barak Obama stand for

Upfront, I will state that I am a conservative, so voting for Hilary or Barak is definately out of the question. What I am stumped on is the way that Obama doesn’t have to answer questions about his positions on the issues and people are just fainting all over the place over this guy.
Legislatively, he only had four years in a national political office and half of that time, he’s been on the campaign trail.
He says he is for change, but what changes? Whenever a Democrat says that I usually end up feeling like that is all I have left in my wallet. Can anyone tell me one significant accomplishment he has made since he has been in the U.S. Senate?
