Visit the Hermitage

Decided it was time to make that someday happen. It took about 4 hours, and I learned a great deal. All in all, an edifying trip. 3 years ago

I felt dizzy there – so many rooms and so easy to be lost!
You should be ready to spend there at least 5 hours…and it won’t be enough ! 5 years ago

Worth it, especially if you like lots of old famous paintings. I’m not much for the old famous paintings, but I liked the small but very good Egyptian collection and the many, many roman and greek sculptures. But mostly, the hermitage itself is the thing to see, with the many beautifull rooms and hallways. 5 years ago
