it looks so awesome. My neighbor is good at it and he is like 50. I live on the Chesapeake Bay so it would be cool if i could learn…

I’ve always wanted to try this, and the year it was on The List of things to do I broke my arm. Time to put it back on my radar!!!
OK, this is a real long shot. I have scheduled a class to learn to sail. If I learn to sail, maybe I can learn to windsurf.
jac99 I'm sweating like Boy George eating a corndog!
I was going to try this a long time ago, and yet again last summer. I let life get in the way. It looks fun!
I wanted to windsurf at sea, but since I have to start from scratch some people advised me to start kitesurfing in stead of windsurfing.
opinions?
Great fun. A friend helped me learn. First time though was actually bought equipment instead of rental, however I was cheap and paid $400 for 2 windsurfers that I could never stand up on. It was probably made in the 70’s. Anyway I did some research and felt a wide board would really help. For my second set bought a GO board, awesome fun and quick learning by a factor of 10!
As that commercial goes, for beginners at least, Wider is better!
Save up a little money to buy some used windsurfing equipment and go out on the lakes this summer and learn how to do it.
Went to a watersporting facility to check things out. It was surprising how close to home this facility is. Amazing because I live in the city.
Anyway I think I am a bit too easly in season but there where a lot of surfboards in sight.
Going to check if there’s any activity in a few weeks.
