How I did it: My old Rubik's cube I bought ages ago had been collecting dust on my shelf for long enough, so I decided to read up on the net how you actually solve those little buggers. Can't be that hard, right? And it isn't, once you find the right instructions.1) Memorize the sides of the cube and the letters belonging to them. This will help later on in learning the algorithms you will need to solve the cube.(See http://www.youcandothecube.com/secr… Read how I did it…

How I did it: I referred to one of the tutorial video available in youtube. yeah i cheated. but still, it requires a lot of concentration to get it done!I nearly gave up halfway but i got it solved anyway.Definitely a try if you are too bored or if you like a challenge. One thing i found out after my attempt, i dont have patience with the cube ;( Read how I did it…

How I did it: I checked how the pieces move around, I made several sketches what moves where if I do certain combinations. I practiced and put all that together. It still takes me about 5-10 minutes to solve it, but my own method! Read how I did it…

I cheated and looked up an algorithm online! Could solve it in just under 2 minutes. It was great.
before, i thought that solving the rubik’s cube is impossible… now i can easily solve it.

Learned how to solve it back in 1982 (when I was only 10) from my college aged brother who learned it from his roommate at college. I amazed my friends because I could solve it in about 7 minutes. Then, about a month ago my 7 year old son found my OLD cube and messed it up and challenged me to solve it – and I was able to – but it took MUCH longer than 7 minutes!
It might be a little egoistic, but as a high school student it was a great way to impress others.
I’ve memorized the algorithm. I can consistently solve a cube in every state. I still don’t really understand what I’m doing, but I’m considering this done.
Okay unscrambled a cube twice. I get the general concept of what I’m doing, now I have to commit the algorithm to memory and actually understand what I’m doing rather than following instructions before I can call this one done.
