Actually did this today! Well, sort of. Left a few business cards in instead :)
punkrocknerd13 is wanting more from life ~always!~
How I did it: I have had this on my list for a while. Since today is my 20th birthday I wanted to celebrate differently (especially since my family is in pa and I'm in ca now). So I picked a few things I could do and I knew I had to do this one. The hardest part... figuring out what to write! I called my bestie but he was also drawing a blank. I looked online and found a quote and added some bits. In the end my note … Read how I did it…

PhenomeneBass has not slept since Friday
How I did it: I wrote a not and left it in the book, asking the person who read it to leave a note back in a specific different book; they did and asked the same, I replied but also said I'd decided not to continue to another book; I felt three notes was enough; any more and we would almost be friends- associates at least- and it would no longer be a strange, spacey thing. bubbleyum994 is doing homework.
I wrote a note today, placed it in the book, and returned it. SImple as that.

I returned books with notes in them ;).

I left two notes. One in “Crime and punishment” by Fiodor Dostojewski (“If you reach this page: go on, don’t give up!”), second in “Breakfast of Champions” by Kurt Vonnegut (Shakespeare quotation).
In both I wrote: “If you feel like answering – answer me. If you don’t feel like it – have a nice day”.
I am going to the library tomorrow.
And I am going to re-borrow this books in October :).

I kind of spontaneously left a short note inside a travel guide in a hotel room (between the two pages that were dedicated to my hometown =]), but I want to leave a longer one in a library book. I can’t really get my note right though.
I like copying out a short poem on a scrap of paper and leaving it in a library book.

I help out in the school library just about everyday so really this goal is just about getting around to leaving a note there. i’ve left quite a few when i do things like reserve books for people or set books aside but i want to leave a ‘personalised’ note.

‘Leave a “note” in a library book’, means just that. Leaving a scrap of paper with writing on it inside a book, not defacing it. I work in the library myself, and I can’t stand folding down the corners of books either, let alone writing in one.
