    I'm 2 months ago

a pretty quiet person as it is.

One of my biggest points is people wasting words, people saying so much without ever really saying anything at all.

    Words aren’t always necessary.

    Many 6 months ago

    many times.

    llong is all life force.

I'm at 30 hours so far... 8 months ago

....my goal is 36 hours without speaking a word.

I’m enjoying it immensely. By making communication so difficult, one focuses on what’s most important. No bickering, no arguing, no ‘making a point’, no filling converational lulls (which ought to be enjoyed).

    Cansu is active again!!! yeaaahaw!

i have actually done this 9 months ago

when my parents were away for holidays i was alone at home all the day without speaking a word, but the problem is when i’m alone i start to talk to myself, you know think loud out… people sometimes say that i talk tooo much, maybe i should start with talking less first…

less and less 9 months ago

i’ve been talking less and less. i wonder if anyone’s ever just decided they wanted to stop talking altogether.

now that i’m so very busy, i think i will take a day off to do this. like actually plan it carefully. this is a difficult thing to accomplish!

this seems like it’d be tough!

    Easy 1 year ago

I had to write “I’ve taken a vow of silence today” on the back of my hand so people would understand. Turning off my cell phone helped also.

i tried it once. it’s very difficult if you go out of your house. if you stay in, it’d be a bit easier. i tried this in college and lasted about 4 hours, maybe. my friends started to become mad at me for not speaking to them, so i had to explain.
