How I did it: I have wanted to read this book for years but haven't wanted to buy it brand new in case I didnt like it, so everytime I went into oxfam bookstore I looked for it and I got lucky earlier this month.
I assumed that it would be quite difficult to read, but I found the writing style really easy to get into as it was conversational. I like the fact that there are undertones to the story and it is one big analogy for the innocence of childhood, and it makes you think about things. I especially like the way that the title of the story leads to the lessons learn, the same way the novel 'To kill a mockingbird' is written, speaking of which, I might read that again.
This has definitely made me want to get back into reading classic novels, as there is always much more to the story than appears on the surface. Read how I did it… 20 months ago
How I did it: I borrowed the book off my library. I read to help me to sleep and wake up, though I don't think it actually help me sleep lol.
