convert an abandoned warehouse into living space

ive always dremp of doing this. i am start the process now of making my dreams a reality.

I have always had a fetish for having a warehouse home. I think it gives off a different feeling from having a regular house.

Has anyone had any luck in finding information about available warehouses in their area. Turns out both my husband and I had secretly wanted to do this. Finding a place to make it happen seems the be the real challenge. We are in the Philadelphia area.

I would love to but where to find an abandoned ware house? Hmm. What about using old train boxes, would that work? But if you wired it wrong you would be electicuted. Odd.

Im looking for spaces to live around London for my partner and my incredibly friendly dog Nikita. We have been squatting for over a year but we want something a bit less stressful than moving all our belongings every other month. Its been fun but wer want space to be creative and to get our belongings out of safe storage. w are a young couple and fun to live with, calm, thoughtful and respectful people please get in touch.

Lost many possessions in the New year’s Eve Flood of 2005-06.

Howvever, we were fortunate to be able to rescue our fur-kids. That’s 4 dogs, 4 cats, and a lilac crowned Amazon Parrot named Rainbeau (yep, that’s how I meant to spell it).

Now you know why this is an important goal for us.
I don’t think that I need to mention (but I will anyway) that two senior citizens with a small fixed income and a bunch of critters are not anyone’s ideal tenant.

So, that’s why I am trying to make this happen.

Looking for a warehouse with lots of windows/skylights to fix up in emeryville/berkeley/westoakland area. do you own one you’d like to fix up? willing to rent to 4 or 5 creative & hardworking arts & media students who will fix it up and use it as a work/living space??? we’re a responsible & mature group of young adults who would love to have enough space to work on special long term projects involving film, photography, and especially music… which is why we feel an old abandoned warehouse would be absolutely perfect!
