stop chewing on pens

When your work desk displays a collection of part chewed pens, which you do not chew cuz you have got a new one to gnaw on, but which you keep just in case you run out of the chewing material…and you are not even ashamed of it anymore…:(

some people just kind of dangle their pen in their mouth or suck on it, but i literally gnaw my pens. I get palpable pleasure from chewing my pens, especially when i’m nervous. People tell me just to chew gum, but its not the same. Sometimes i’ll actually remove the ink part of the pen, and just chew on the plastic tube, to avoid incidents like the one naranji described.
I want to stop chewing, because it gets so gross when your pen gets full of saliva, and sometimes my jaw gets a little sore too… It’s probably bad for your teeth too…

You find yourself chewing up a pen someone lent to you, that they have already sucked….

you can’t figure out why people are giving you funny looks. And when you finally go to the bathroom to see what the fuss is about, you realize that your pen chewing addiction has caused your tasty Papermate to explode in your mouth. And you realize with disgust that the burst of ink actually tastes kind of good.
