How I did it: we'd been chatting online for a while and we lived pretty close so we just decided to meet. it was a bit awkward at first, like i expected him to be taller lol, and you just imagine them a certain way, and it's strange when they turn out to be different, but we got on great

Lessons & tips: just be 100% sure he's not a pedo lol. its really not hard, just check out their friends on facebook, check to see who comments him, this will confirm that their not pretending to be old people or something. talk on webcam and stuff too

    My first road trip 1 week ago

    I worried a lot about this. I’ve known someone for about a year now and we ended up dating not too long ago. Couple months. So okay it is quite a bit ago. _
    Needed to gain a lot of trust to do this but actually I could tell he wasn’t going to harm me. My advice for everyone else, true you never know if someone is lying to you online but I think talking to people online is more safe than talking to people in person because they could have not a clue who you are and you can just stop talking to them.

    this year (august 2009) i finally met in person one of my many online bestfriends, his name is James from las vegas, weve known each other since 2002? i cant believe it took us nearly 8 yrs before we finally decided to meet, anyway, he came all the way to barcelona and we had so much fun! now its my turn to visit him! :)

    I’ve always wanted to meet all of my online friends since I am such a blog nerd. They’re all fabulous people I won’t get a chance to meet if it’s not through internet. It’s always feels wonderful to receive and read different thoughts from people I’ve never talked to before, thus, I really want to meet them all, I’m sure it’ll be loads of fun! :D

    The girl with whose disembodied presence I’ve grown up (god… grammar) is sleeping on my couch, a few feet away. She has very long eyelashes, and raggedly cut hair, a strand of which has fallen in her mouth. She looks cold, and small, and fragile, and incontrovertibly real in a way that defies explanation.
