Be more stylish

The things is, why should I look like everyboyd else if I can be myself? Why should I wear jeans when I have cooler clothes in the closet? I just have to… wear them! It’s not hard at all! I commit myself now to wear the coolest clothes in my wardrobe. It’ll help me be more confident, more unique.

Yesterday I finally bought two new purses. One was 40,000 won ($26). It was more than I wanted to spend, but it was the most attractive one. It is very stylish and it beats my little Vespa tote bag, especially for going out to nice places. I also found a larger purse in the clearance bin for only 9,000 won. It will replace my bag that I take to work each day—that bag has holes in it and the cloth is faded and I was starting to feel embarrassed for taking such a dingy bag to work.

I also found a tan cardigan in a clearance bin for 4,000 won.

I’ve been trying to wear mascara everyday so my face doesn’t look totally washed out. I want to get some tinted lip gloss but I’m anxious about shopping in Korea—the salespeople swarm you everywhere, even if you don’t speak the language.

I used to be complimented on my clothes and style but for a long time, I was broke & depressed and my sense of style went out of the window. Now I’m neither broke nor depressed but I still dress frumpy.

My goal is to start buying clothing, jewelry and makeup. I’d like to buy one piece of clothing, jewelry and makeup a month for the next year.

well, i moved to montreal. Being so close to so many stores as well as so many stylish people has been helping me…. although i still wouldn’t say that this goal has been completed yet.

I recently downsized my closet and put a cap on my spending, so I need to be creative if I want to show my commitment to this goal. I think I will need to take a look at the things I do have, especially my shoe, scarf, and accessory repertoire. o have a good deal of necklaces and things that I never wear. Perhaps I will re-pierce my ears!

ton’s of cute clothes, but i always seem to stick with the same old stuff. i used to be able to throw something adorable and unique together without any thought… but i feel like i’m in a rut.

Just scored a job as a fashion designer and am tempted to burn my corporate suits. Hoorah!
