I’m trying to find shows or movies in Ga that need extra’s help
How to be an extra in a movie or TV show
How I did it: I looked up several sites on the internet where you could register for free at agencies specialized on extras. I got some newsletters via email in which they described the person they needed (age, sex, special skills etc.) and where the filming location would be.
One day, I received an email saying that they everyone who hasn't been working as an extra yet, can call the agency and apply for a comedy TV series starting in spring next year. So I called... and got the job! The filming took place in a huge studio in Cologne.
After the first day I was asked whether I could make it the next week, same time, again. I said yes and got to do another day of filming a week later - and got paid for both of them, however, I did it mainly for fun and experience.
Lessons & tips: Search Google for agency websites in your region and register. Be patient and wait. Sooner or later there will be a job for you.

Saw this programme yesterday about being an extra. Looked great, they really sold the fact that maybe you could go on & do something else, or maybe you’d bump into someone famous. Either way, or even without, it would be great to have my 15 minutes, for the family to see me on the screen. Especially if I was taking part in some great story.

Someone I know has the opportunity to be on a TV show like this. It’s so inspiring. Everyone, please help her do it! You can go online and vote for her now. Here’s the information. (I am cutting and pasting this from one of my emails).
Hey Guys,
Below is a link and the attached email I received. One of our clients’ daughters has the chance to be on a TV show if we vote her on. She’s not winning yet, so, let’s all vote for her and see what happens!
Her name is Maureen. So PICK MAUREEN!
Thanks,
Blessings!

that shouldn’t be that hard, should it. i mean, it’s just an extra. it’s not like you have to talk or anything. you just stand there and look interested. or uninterested. whatever.
