That if (I should be more positive and say WHEN) we get a new home to move to, it’ll be a lot closer to everything and I’ll automatically be walking a lot more. :-)

Which was really great. My daughter and I went for a walk for about eight blocks.
Not huge in the grand scale of things, but definitely a step in the right direction as far as making a positive step in the right direction. I’m hoping that we can manage another one tomorrow as well.
Fingers crossed.

james drove me to my yoga session this morning, but then i walked home instead of asking him to come pick me up.
it is so cold today (2 degrees…), so i am very proud of myself for doing this.
last week i could’ve walked and taken the train many places. but, i did not do this because i felt uncomfortable in the weather (ice, snow blizzards, etc). maybe next time this happens, i can try taking public transportation just once, as a small step in the right direction.

When my brother and baby niece came for a visit. We went for a nice walk to a great cafe a few blocks away, then walked the long way home.
A lovely time had by all. :-)

Although the weather has been so crazy here that I’d expect to be washed away in one of the unpredictable deluges that have been happening so often over the last week or two. Soon my little feet…...soon.

Has prevented me from doing this lately. It’s either stinking hot, or pouring with rain and stormy.
The rain is so great to see, so I’m not complaining. Just waitning for better weather.

i could’ve driven. it would’ve been faster and warmer, but i walked instead.
and it was so gratifying. i love walking through my neighborhood, across western, into another neighborhood. my friend josh pointed out the brick and stone pillars that have street names on them. they’re beautiful, and they adorn every street corner. i’m happy to take the time to walk, observe building decor, trees, and breathe in fresh air.
yoga made the experience even better.
