How to date a skinny white hipster because they're so hot

How I did it:
- Got very solid music & art-related knowledge.
- Met new people, not necessarily all hipsters.
- Befriended lots of socialites at various gigs, made useful connections, such as photographers and band members.
- Got a hipster boyfriend
Lessons & tips: You will need (to):
- solid music knowledge, especially indie rock, britpop, nu rave, freak folk, experimental, electronic, dnb... lotssss of music. variety and quality are key aspects.
- read a lot
- have your attempt at art and DIY
- be interested in fashion, combine new fads with your personal style
- have an opinion about everything, from obama to the latest theatre play in town. knowledge is power. knowledge impresses people.
- also, knowing other languages is impressive. use words and expressions from other languages. have your signature catchphrase ("ciao", "voila", "au naturel", "schadenfreude" etc). know what they all mean before you use them.
- THE POINT of this is to have lots of things to talk about, because these guys get bored very easily and sometimes looking great is not everything, they're into brainy girls too :)
- if you're a bit overweight, try to attain an hourglass figure at least. guys like slender girls: harsh, but it's a fact. they like smart, witty, funny girls, but you need to look the part too.

even tho my husband has tattoos now – i’m glad his hair isn’t better than mine. and his jeans aren’t a 26 and mine a 28.
yknow. there are advantages to being with a regular guy.

this is so hilarious. Its such a random, specific “goal” i guess you could say, but for the past couple of months, Ive been obsessed with the idea of dating a skinny white hipster guy because well….they are SO hot! I love living in NYC, go to the village or williamsburg,bk and you will see every other guy is a cute hipster =)
