...time is up!

MOVING ON!
james
...we all are this “whether we like it or not!”
imagine you plant some flowers, you arbitarily pick a plot of land, the area is not prepped, the hole is dug, the plants placed and then you just leave them to fend for themselves, to grow inspite of the unattended land. the soil is rough, and dry more often than not, and the weeds are determined to own every inch of soil.
what are the chances for survival?
now let’s say you start a second garden. you purposely pick a plot of land with great exposure. you amend the soil to create a fetile bed. the weeds are removed, the plants are planted, fertilized, watered and monitored.
what are the chances for survival?
everyday, like it or not, you are either going through your day in a way that fertilizes and nourishes you or you are making choices that starve you of the things that are most needed.
life does not have to be a struggle. life may present challenges and still that does not mean you have to struggle.
what are the everyday things that “if removed” would make your day feel so much better?
what are the choices that “if changed” would result in an outcome that you would enjoy?
are you tending to your garden, are you tending to your life, or are you letting the weeds determine how your garden will be?
this is something i am really looking at in my life, how might this benefit you?
with love and appreciation,
james
...it’s late and i am asking myself “five more months?”
i started this with:
if not now when… — 4 weeks ago
who is it the person i want to be?
committed
committed to what?
change
what kind of change?
one of the things i am experiencing as i go through this restating of my objectives is the realization that change is immediate. in other words “I” have mentally, physically, and emotionally made the change. ooops, theres more…
yes, there is much more, “the process of executing, implementing, or acting on the change” i am finding is a much different timeline.
so creating is a process, and change may not have anything to do with the process at all…do you see how this could be a major source of frustration if this is not recognized?
i am focused and committed, albeit my posts are not as many as i initially anticipated, there is still a great of “acting on my change” going on.
“A LOT GOING ON!”
talk soon,
james
i am at 40 things at present.
part of the process is removing the items that don’t realy match-up with my core wants!
moving on…;-)
it’s on, i am committed to changing and adjusting my list of 43 things until it “FEEL #$@!#$ AWESOME!” excuse my french…;-)
it’s time to “ROCK’N ROLL!”
i added keeping commitments and not just being on time, rather being early.
i have dropped, added, and moved some list items around.
it is clear to me that i am committed to the next six months and making a lasting change in my life.
time to live the life i am capable of living.
living as the person “i want to be.”
“write more poetry”
why not “write poetry?”
if i am not writing an poetry right now, then how could more be helpful. really i would love to make time for myself to write.
so maybe “write” is really what i wanting.
this will be my first change:
“write more poetry” change to “write”
