The one thing I miss about living in the country is how black the sky gets and how bright the stars are. Living in Dallas, I rarely get to see stars and the sky always has an orange haze over it. I’m moving back to the country at the beginning of the year and I can’t wait to lay under the stars and spend some time outside again. It’s so much more relaxing.

Highly recommend sleeping outside – backyards work wonderfully. Not too far from downtown (between 30th and 82nd in SE) I can see the stars and listen to the frogs … almost as cool as crickets.
