Weight  — 3 weeks ago

I’ve struggled with my weight since I was in 4th grade and noticed I was heavier than the other girls in my class. I’ve been self-conscious on my appearance ever since. Even at my lowest, I still felt like I needed to loose five or ten pounds. I wanted that specific number and it ate at me each time I put something in my mouth. Eventually, gum was the only thing that considered “eating.” I’ve changed my eating habits a little and still feel uncomfortable after I eat. But I’ve gotten better but am not completely satisfied with the way I feel about myself. I want to shed about 10-15 lbs by eating healthy, exercise, plenty of water and rest :)

Let's Do This!  — 2 months ago

Since last summer I have gained 15 pounds from eating too much sweets and junk, not eating healthy at all and skipping meals, and most worst – late night eating. I can’t fit into my summer jeans and that really pisses me off ><

I try to exercise every day but sometimes I can’t because of work and sometimes I don’t do it long enough. I also can’t get a very healthy dinner when I work nights, but I try. This is going to be tough!

Loose 15 pounds  — 3 months ago

Since I moved from California, I have gained 10.

Here there is not variety of meat, vegetables, etc. The food is all the same. Exercise- Hiking and backpacking, sometimes not enough time for that since. Jobs here are also difficult. But love the area and the people.

I am not very fat. But the one thing is that im big boned and I hate it! I dont have an hour glass figure because my bones arent shaped like that. But i do have some chub on my tummy and thighs and also my hips. I wanna loose this chubbyness by June so i can feel AMAZING at my grad party and dance with lots of guys. It would make my day if i danced with atleast 5 boys ? or more. Like some of my SKINNY MINNY friends dance with like 7 boys at our school dances. I wanna get asked out. And yea, Im sick of being lonely and not being in a relationshiop. I want someone and i feel that loosing that exess fat is the only way im gonna feel great and look great :)

OMG..... AHhhhhh  — 6 months ago

I had a baby, and now he is two years old. I gained 54 pounds during pregnancy and only lost 30 when he was born. I have been struggling with the other 20 ever since, and now I find myself gaining again. I want to loose at least 15 pounds to feel good about myself and look good in normal clothes. My boyfriend proposed to me on christmas eve and so the pressure to loose the weight is deffinately on!! In 9 months I want to fit my dress!!!!

Any suggestions??! =]

January 1st, A New Beginning  — 6 months ago

Welcome to 2008. In 2003 I weighed 165 pounds. Today I weigh 182 pounds. Yesterday I tried on every pair of pants I own and none of them fit except my forgiving sweat pants. It’s time to get back under control. In 2002 I weight 192 pounds and was able to get to 165 in 8 months, just in time for my 40th birthday. This year the race should be a bit easier, as I’m starting at 182 instead of 192.

I lost it last time by using the Weight Watchers site. I’ve had a shortcut on my browser for the food tracker for years. I just clicked on it for the first time in months and added my breakfast. It’s a start!

One thing I’ve done for several years is to avoid drinking in January. This should also help with the weight loss as well. Drinking adds a lot of calories of course. What’s worse though is the loss of will power that comes with drinking. That leads easily to overeating. At least I won’t have this problem for the first month of my quest!
