Its a good book

Well, it was OK... 2 years ago

not amazing, but OK. Which to be honest, is better than I expected considering that the author was a teenager.

This book was so good! How can you say it was forgettable!I think it’s one of the best books i have read. i recommend it to everyone who loves fantasy and believe that you can change your life by doing whatever you want. if you haven’t read it you should trust me it’s great!

I’ve heard bad reviews about it, about it being bad in literature in stuff, but one of these days im gonna read it and, if i dont like it, at least i’ll be able to say i read it and not ‘well, i dont like it cause everyone else says they dont like it’

The fact that he started writing this book too early really shows. Half of the ideas in the books can be directly found in other works, and the elements that are original are mostly underdeveloped or just plain dumb. A few of his metaphors and such didn’t make an ounce of sense. Characters are cliched and hard to connect with. The names that he actually made up himself look as though he just slapped random keys and stuck in some extra vowels to come up with them. The book probably could have been better if he had at least waited until tenth grade English to start on it. I would hope so, at least. :|

Not great literature? For heaven’s sake, the author was 15 when he wrote it!

I enjoyed it, and I look forward to the movie.

Not great literature by any means, but not too bad. Should be relatively easy to make into a movie… as I have heard rumored it will be.

Not horrible, but forgettable 3 years ago

This wasn’t bad for an author’s first book, and I’m guilty of buying the second book in the trilogy and reading that as well, but they’re the sort of book one can put down at any time and not miss. If you’re looking for an epic fantasy fix, I recommend The Lord of the Rings books or movies instead, and if you’re in the mood for telepathic dragons, read any of Anne McCaffery’s books about Pern.
