This is not a total secret from my husband, but I’m not as open with him abt it as with myself. Although I think he is pretty much into it. One aspect of it has to do with a career development for me. Last night we were fantasizing about converting part of the garage of the duplex we like (see “buy an investment property” goal) into an extra room, and I mentioned how it would be cool to use the new room for this particular career development possibility. And he was like, oh yeah, that would be great. It’s obviously a bigger issue for me than for him!
How to work on my Secret Goal
How I did it: Oh my. They sure are demanding here at 43 things. Let me say, I just did it. The goal was actually to try to get something specific done over a set amount of time. I kept trying and the time passed. I did what I said. (Is that 150 words yet?)
I hope so.

rowanboat is re-connecting
I’m glad to be making time daily for this so far – it is probably my top priority right now. Yesterday and today were pretty good, hence the level 10 morale.
rowanboat is re-connecting
We’ll see how it goes.
For today: done.
This isn’t a particularly hard goal. It’s mostly about perseverance.
Constructive Destruction Is having an inner revolution - again ¬__¬
Okay, I lied… This goal is anything but typical. But I’m moving forward xD at least I think so.
Constructive Destruction Is having an inner revolution - again ¬__¬
It’s actually a pretty typical goal, but it contains really embarrassing details so I have no choice but to name it a secret goal. Here.
I’d die if anyone would find out what this little dirty secret goal really is. Either way, it’s something I want to do (okay, something I think I should – for my own good).
Anyway, I’d like to ask all you guys – why are your secret goals secret in the first place?
This morning. Talking w/ my fella about it, having him totally get it, which he usually does, but this morning was more of a profound understanding. Always makes me happy. Makes such a difference how I present it, of course. Getting more confidence. Thinking I might need to make a bigger goal out of this.
Kullerauge is mending and bending
We decided not to go through with this. We were both very tense about it, talked it over a lot and finally made a decision. We were botha tiny bit disappointed, but most of all relieved about that pressure being taken away.
And who knows… we might still get back on this once we´ve really settled into our new house.
Super cool. Utter success with one, and I just need to keep at it, because this is the long-term portion, and my goal is to have utter success with it day after day. Going well. Part Deux is going well, too, but success is not as easily measured. That said, time will reveal how successful my actions have been.
