Caturday!
How I did it: First had to figure out what I wanted and how I was going to do it. After said and done, I knew I wanted horns. To get that I started with double hawks. Within a few months, I had bleached died my hair a few times, and bleached part of my eyebrows once. I hade double mo-hawks that were blue. Then I had two horns on the front of my head that were brown with red tips.
Lessons & tips: Trial and error.

Caturday!
I’ve been wanting to dye my hair for awhile and I’m going to the store… eventually to buy a box-thing. My mom’s going to help me chose, because she’s done it before…
I want a orangish shade of brown. Like light auburn or something. =3
i love change its such a healthy thing to do. maybe not for my hair but it is for your self confidence!

Yesterday, I dyed my hair a brighter shade of red. After a month of being a bit closer to brunette, and having a formerly blonde colleague showing up at work as a brunette after I said I would dye my hair darker, I haved decided to dye to be different!
So the colour I am leaning towards now is MJ ginger. At this moment, I am a bit orange, but give me another month or two and I’ll be ready to be Kirsten Dunst’s understudy for Spidey 4!

An era has come to its end.
I’ve used chemical dye for the first time in..ehm…7 years.
The colour is called copper mahony and is much darker than my henna red, but still has a red shine. I’m posting the pic I took after making a test strand. But on the flash photo it all kinda looks the same. Well, boo-hoo. I did it myself, so there’s the blond patch here and there, but who cares.

I am seriously considering to go brunette.
I’ve been a fire red henna-head since I was 17, with a phase of 3mm punk-colours-back-to-blonde in between. But frankly, I am getting a bit bored with it, and maybe it’s time to say good bye to red. Bf thinks he will be relieved of his coiffeur duties, but since I have no intentions to return to being a blonde, he’ll still have to dye my hair for me.

Need to convince bf that this needs to be done tonight or Friday. He looks so sexy with plastic gloves… Kinda mad-scientist…

Well, I’m not quite sure if this one was worth it yet, cause I still have the henna on my head, and bf was watching the Spain/Tunesia match while putting it on (he’s so sweet, bless him for dying my hair every 6 – 8 weeks). But considering I’ve had henna-red hair for 15 years with a brief shaved head phase in between, I guess I’m safe to say this was worth it and that I will be doing this again.
Now, washing out the henna without getting the whole bathroom messy will be the dreaded part of this venture.
