sew new curtains for my bedroom

I finished sewing last night in time to catch the season finale of CSI Miami. So yeah.. I am estatic coz they match my bedroom colour scheme perfectly (well, at least I think so!). It didn’t take very long but getting started was not easy.

I feel very satisfied after completing this small project. Maybe I should do one every fortnight and make some serious effort to beautify my home. Will think about it a bit more before I commit to anything serious :P

Am gonna get my butt off this chair and sew those damn curtains now.. :P

But I completed sewing the curtain for my brother’s room. Yes, I am too kind and he doesn’t deserve having me as a sister. Still, thought I’d do some community service and make sure he covers his bedroom windows. Not that there’s much to see nway..

Dunno when I’ll do mine, it takes quite a while to get them done. The measuring, ironing, then the sewing itself. But I know I’ll get such a buzz once I complete this. We’ll see if I get a flash of energetic inspiration and do something worthwhile, instead of vegging in front of my PC and watching downloaded episodes of Lost.. :P

Think I’ll take out the sewing machine and do justice to this goal. Maybe the therapeutic effect can soothe my nerves that’s currently shot to hell.

Note to self: Do not accept any meeting invitations for Friday afternoons. Hazardous to weekend mental outlook.

They’re still neatly folded in my drawer and I haven’t touched them for months now. Though when I do, I think I can get them done in a day. Maybe this weekend..
