kleges is working
I’ve had this goal for about 1,5 years and did nothing about it. So this is going to change! I will try this from today on!
I’ve never meditated or anything, so I thought this might be a good thing to try.
Except that I can’t listen to silence.. I have tinnitus. My doctor says it should have gone away by now, but it’s still there. For those of you who don’t know, it’s when you have ringing in your ears (like after a concert) 24/7. The perks of being a bartender!
But maybe I should try to tune it out. It could work! Then I won’t even notice it…
I enjoy listening to nothing, and reading. It made my sleep better (and, consequently, my waking up as well).
Since only 2 days, I’m enjoying (more than) 5 minutes of silence each day.
Holy cow. It’s like a shower for the brain.
I use to turn on the radio, sometimes TV, or listen to music, a lot. All the time, actually.
Today, I’ve enjoyed some minutes (in a row, I mean) of (almost) mere silence. Reviving.
I used to tell myself, when going to bed, “mmh that’s actually something I should do more often — listening to silence”.
