While my grandfather was in the hospital, a friend of his knitted him these mittens and hat. Grandpa chose the color. He wore them once and had a picture taken in them, then he gave them to me. I think I only wore them this one time too, but I still have them.
This picture is not appealing to me because you can see how my shirt used to gap. I can laugh at it now that I’ve lost the weight.
More photos to come… How about sharing yours since I’ve resurrected this 2005 goal?

...I have a pic of myself from about two years ago. Never mind the fact that I’m overweight in the photo, the issue is MY HAIR.
The day before, I’d gone to get hair extensions in order to look like singer Angie Stone (who basically wears a highly styled afro).
Instead of Angie Stone, I just looked angry and stoned.
I took it out the very next day! Forget how much it cost!
I was saving the pic for a web site on hair extensions that I’m doing (in all seriousness started so other women don’t go through that kind of experience) but I’ll share it here once I get it scanned.
(Already shaking head in shame…)

yes, its true, this my beloved auntie, who turned 80 earlier that year, and i think she looks killer in her bathing suit.
Ah well, maybe i only have to wait 40 yrs to look Hot again….!

since santa wasnt able to come thru with a scanner for me this xmas, i’m going to go ahead with posting a pic i hate, but that i already have in digital form. This is entitled:
WHALE ON THE BEACH
(lol) its from 2004, and i’m getting my ass kicked by the Atlantic Ocean waves in trying to bodysurf, which seemed to be really easy when i was 120lbs, but tis a Mite Bit Tougher at 250lbs. And, (meaning no disrespect to those of you sincerely trying to lose weight), but this is an area of my life i’m enraged about, as i’m forced for medical reasons to be on medications that seriously screw with one’s metabolism,,,,e.g. last med change dolloped a nice 70lbs onto me (30lbs of it in just a months time), the first meds attempted put 95lbs on me in a mere year & a half….Arrrgghhh! Frustration at the Unfairness !!Look, i’ll take the 20-30 lbs i put on all by myself after high school, the honest filling out to be a std 5’7” woman. But i still resent this ‘artifical’ weight—BLAH!
