its been a few weeks, and i’ve already lost 8 pounds, and keeping them off! i feel so happy right now :)
How to lose a stone
How I did it: Basically, I went vegetarian. That's all I really changed, except depending on vegetables more, obviously. It's not that difficult to become vegetarian, there are alot of brands like Quorn that make meat substitute if tofu isn't for you. Also, I started to eat less chocolate. At one point, I cut it out of my diet completely and it really helped, I got down to my lightest which was 8stone 5lbs and less than my losing a stone target! I now weight 8stone 8lbs and am a lot happier with my body.
Lessons & tips: I drink a lot of tea now to stop myself snacking. It helped a lot, so if you don't like tea, substitute it for something like cranberry juice - yumm.

I am one of those people who finds themselves on a continuous diet, and yet I have remained 9st10 for the past 2 years. And so now that I am a poor student I am making a real effort to drop the weight. Hopefully by the New Year :)

Well my weight-loss journey is now into it’s 5th year and I’m still 3 stone from my goal weight. But I am sticking with it. I’ve lost weight before and I can again. I’ve got the whole “new school year” feeling going on – fresh start, new goals etc. By this time next year, I hope to have reached my goal weight.

I’ve given myself the deadline, i’m going to lose this stone before i go away in October. I don’t get enough exorcise, i openly admit that i AM lazy. And i eat too much sugar.
So what’s the plan??
-Eat less sugar (not cut it out, cut down, when i cut it out i get tired)
-Exorcise more, get out walking etc or even better dance and do yoga!
-Eat more fruit, then i get the sugar but it’s better for you.
-Don’t miss any more meals, i’m terrible, i won’t eat for a day then i’ll binge the next. Not good for weight loss the body keeps going into starvation mode.
I can and i will do this. If i don’t i’m on a celery diet haha!

after being made redundant, i got really down, couldn’t afford rent, moved back home, and ate….ate…..combined with sitting around feeling quite depressed….i put on a stone..and cant fit into my clothes…..or my favourite jeans, that i had to give to my lil sister…really want to lose a stone…any advice…..i seem to eat when i’m stressed or bored.
I have always been stick thin and been able to eat anything, however since hitting 40 my weight has gradually crept upwards and I now weigh 9st 9lb, at 5ft 4” this is above where I am comfy, I feel blobby and my clothes feel tight.
I have always hovered around 8 1/2 stone, so I want to try and get down to this through a combination of healthy eating and exercise. At the moment I seem to survive on junk food and I am constantly tired.
My goal is to lose the stone within 3 months.

lost 6 pounds now!! most i’ve ever lost and i haven’t been this light since i was 15!! 5 years ago!! I’m so proud, i’ve never lost weight before, not more than a pound! bring on the summer! maybe i’ll have more self confidence for a change!!
well this morning i fit into a dress that i have never been able to do up before! i feel amazing. i’ve lost 11 pounds since the new year so i’m only 3 pounds away from losing an entire stone! i have never lost weight before, so i’m so proud of myself. :)
