Do Italian Home Catering

It was awesome. I think the platters nearly got licked clean. I know I was a little bit jumpy about this, but I just got so many positive comments and accolades that my head is spinning. It was a very, very, busy morning, and I did stress a little on quantities, but in the end it all turned out really well. Thankyou everyone for all your wonderful support and cheers. this Sunday. My first paying contract. I’m a bit nervous, but I’m sure I’ll be o.k. So many people have seen the flyers for the opening of the art exhibition (my name is mentioned for the catering). Whew!! That’s a bit daunting.Capt Nemo has even designed and printed up business cards for me – what a darling! So today a bit of preparation and tomorrow morning busily making a LOT of sushi.Fingers crossed everyone !!

my sushi making skills. Did a trial run on some sushi today, as a prelude to my art exhibition catering gig. Went very well indeed – even have enough for lunches for the next two days. All looking good…............

Just today I was asked if I would do another catering contract. Mind you, it isn’t Italian cooking, but that’s o.k. I have been asked to make sushi and the like for a Japanese exhibition in a months time. This is for the opening, so that is exciting. May have to practice a little with the sushi beforehand. It’s been a while since I made some. AWESOME !!!!!!!

my first catering gig went so so amazingly well. Everyone just loved ALL the food, and I got huge compliments. I have even been asked to do a wedding and a Christmas party. WOW!!! This is awesome. I have my first function this Tuesday evening. There is a lass at work who is retiring and it is also her birthday. When they couldn’t find a suitable venue to celebrate this,I put up my hand and offered my services. I have had so much fun organising the menu, buying all the ingredients and starting to prepare a few things. I will certainly be busy tomorrow, but I am ENJOYING this so much. So cheers to me. This goal is off and running….....
