I will start building my treehouse in about two weeks, summer is here and I feel good :D I picked the tree, and the goals to go with it. While I am living in my treehouse I want to experience things, so I might fast for 48 hours. I want to write 500 words a day for a month while being up there, turn my mobile off for a week, carve our names in a tree, spend less time on the computer and read all the books I own.

My boyfriend and I want to build a treehouse behind my parents house in the summer and live in it during our summerbreak. My parents live near a lane of trees and we could really use the peace and quiet of that place when we finish school again this year. Also when we are over there we can ride some horses and work on the farm of my neighbors, which would get us into a better shape we are in now haha.

I’ve always thought this was such a cool idea.
I don’t know if I would actually be able to LIVE in a tree house. But I always thought it would be sweet to have a big tree with a tree house right outside my bedroom window. A rope ladder would connect the tree house to the bedroom window, and would only be accessible by the one ladder. I would use it as a sewing room. It would be grand.

this is not a hippy goal. show me the person who doesnt want to live in a treehouse. also if we lived in trees maybe our devolved, useless, shameful toes would evolve back into finger-like appendages with which we would swing from tree to tree.

This was my dream since i was little!! I have it ALLL planned out. I’m gonna buy a huuuge property and import gigantic trees and built a bunch of tree houses connected by bridges … including an astronomy tower! :D
