swim in the pacific ocean

The waves in Southern California are way better than any in NJ or GA (where I’ve been in the atlantic) AND there’s no risk of getting stung by a jelly fish like there is in GA, or at least at Tybee Island. AND no hurricanes!

Atlantic is down… 3 more to go.

swam on the beach in tamarindo. yeah, cali would have been a bit more conventional for an american, but i’ll get to it soon enough! =)

i love the ocean.. but all i’ve ever seen of it was the atlantic.. so taking a dip in the pacific would be great (:

I’ve taken an accidental swim off my boat in the Pacific Ocean before, and it can be more exhilarating than wading in from the beach!

I hear the sands are softer and more white out west. I also heard a rumor that the ocean is BLUE.

I’m not a terribly good swimmer in any sense (I can dog paddle), but its still my desire to go to the Pacific Ocean and frolic, play, and swim in it.

I mean, I hit Seattle, WA almost every other year at this point. It sounds like an achievable goal.

but so worth it! I went to San Fran this summer and made it a point to swim in the Pacific. Cooold but wonderfully refreshing!
