Right now I’ve recently been dreaming of cooking for a future husband or something like that maybe, especially because I love Japanese cuisine and dearly want to move to Japan and get married. I even have these dreams when I’m young, ne? So I’m going to learn Japanese cuisine as well as some basic classic American recipes, and maybe slip in some Chinese and French cuisine. Wish me luck!~

I've been baking since I was little 10 months ago

I’ve always been better at pastries and cakes and that sort of thing than proper cooking. I will list the recipes or made-up creations I try and the results. I want this to culminate in a dinner party where everybody raves about how delicious the food is all night long.

Home cookin' 1 year ago

I have grown up eating some of the most amazing meals thanks to my Mom. My grandmother was Norwegian and a master cook so I’m sure my mother learned from her. I can only hope that by continuing to watch and learn from her I can one day provide the meals she has allowed me to enjoy to my own family.

and I love it, so I’ve gotten pretty good. At least, that’s what people who eat my food tell me. I know I like what I make. I love to read cookbooks and food magazines. They give you great ideas, even if you don’t cook the actual recipes.

WOW I made a great meal last night of Roast Beef, cooked veggies, potatoes, gravey, and a little bit of pasta. I am so happy and full.

With the help of these websites 3 years ago

and lots of practice I have become quite a good cook. Epicurious.com, cooks.com, fineliving.com, cookinglight.com, and meals.com are all really handy and helpful. I have gone through a lot of trial and error but now I can say I no longer have temperature issues and overmixing issues and whatever else I was doing wrong before. Now I can pretty much cook whatever I want and it turn out yummy…or at least like it’s supposed to.

does anyone have any good pork chop recipes? Also does anyone know what would go really well as a side dish? Or any good recipes that are inexpensive to make, like using items that anyone would have in there house. Thank you

Patience 3 years ago

..is something I’ll probably need. I can cook but I don’t have the patience, which is probably why I don’t enjoy it too much. I just like the eating part. Hopefully I’ll get more into cooking in the future.
