Well I did. I went on foodgawker to find a really great recipe. I chose a creamy broccoli and sun dried tomato pasta. It was terrible! I don’t know if it was the recipe or something I did wrong, but it had absolutely no flavor.
I’ve decided to start out more basic. I figure how can I cook really good food without knowing the basics? So I’m going to start with cooking chicken stock, bread, and reductions. 3 months ago

I want to be proficient at making amazing food. I’d like for people to eat my food and be blown away at how tasty it is. I can cook, but I’d like to practice technique and learn more about flavor. I enjoy food. I enjoy that food is something people can enjoy together no matter who you are or what your background is. I like seeing people happy, and if the food I make could make the people I love even happier well then it is worth studying. 3 months ago

Okay “really well” is probably relative, but I’m definitely cooking more than I used to and I like to experiment and try different things. Most of the time it’s pretty yummy! Perhaps I’ll never be a Cordon Bleu chef, but this is good enough for me :) 13 months ago
