... the iPod is not really about video, despite the touting of it as such in its latest incarnation.
With that said, I have a 30gb video – and yes, I have some video clips on it. I would not recommend watching lengthy videos on the iPod. First, it sucks down the battery so fast you wouldn’t believe it, and second that screen is pretty darn small. I do love my iPod, and I do recommend getting one if you want one, but just keep in mind that the video is just an extra sort of “perk” type thing, and not what makes or breaks the iPod, if you know what I mean.
If you do get one, be sure that you get a case of some sort or another, or at least some kind of “shield.” The iPod (whether it’s white or black) is all pretty and shiny and lovely – but very prone to scratches. If you get it scratched, I hear Brasso works wonders, but that using it on the white iPods can potentially cause some yellowing. ;)
