my eating has been so off because of being ill…it’s mostly not eating at all, or eating anything that is remotely appetizing, meat or no meat.

I’ll pick up tracking again once I actually feel like eating again.

Wednesday…again, all veggie.
Thursday, wow, no meat again today.

Some of that is purposeful (ate out last night and specifically avoided all dishes with chicken) and some is not (have leftovers from last night).

Yesterday Kyle and I had meat dinner, and again tonight, too. But I had veggie lunches.

I’m officially going to lower my threshold to 10 for the next week.

Was always planning on meat for lunch, because I had a lunch date at a place where I always get the same thing (with meat in it).

But the husband surprised me tonight with a quick pancake dinner. Delicious breakfast for supper, and no meat!

Monday and Tuesday 9 months ago

Monday was high on meat, because I ate out both meals. Today, I did have meat for dinner, but just a little bacon inside a soup. I’m still going to count it as a meated meal, even though it was not the main event, which is what I’m tying to accomplish with this goal.

Saturday: 9 months ago

I had chicken for both lunch and dinner yesterday, so I ended up the first week with 5 meated meals (out of my allotted 12). I’m pretty sure I can drop the number, but I’ll go one more week just to see if this week was a fluke because it’s the first week I’m trying this or if I already eat less meat than I thought I did.

We are going grocery shopping this weekend and I plan on getting dry beans and trying my hand at making them myself. And I’m totally making more lentil taco filling because I loved it.
