try frog's legs

I keep reading that frog’s legs taste like chicken, but they don’t really. The texture is poultry-y (really moist chewy dark meat of the bird), but the taste isn’t. I’d say the taste (which is not very strong) was somewhere between chicken and fish of some sort. A fresh-water fish, not an ocean fish. Not bad tasting, but I don’t know if I’d bother to have them again; they weren’t worth the effort of getting all the meat off the tiny little legs. You could probably eat dozens of them and still not be full.

i went to a fancy resturant during a family vacation to naples florida and i thought, what the hell you only live once. they were fried, and they actually DO taste like chicken. kind of. its more of a chewy chicken, but the texture is distinctly chicken-y.

But truly, there’s nothing scary about it! and if you eat it in France, it mostly tastes of garlic…
