write a nonfiction book

one of the best photographers in the country with a well stocked archive of images has expressed interest in working with me a for book. This would be a good chance. I feel I often procrastinate waiting to do the ideal project. But then later you find out that there is no ideal. Its just what you make of the situation.

I want to write a synopsis soon.

so I haven’t gone too far with the actual writing of the book. I am on board a ship giving some lectures on exactly the topic I want to be writing. I want to use this opportunity to determine the structure for the book and to decide on the number of words per section/chapter, etc.

I haven’t made any progress on this since my last entry. Am going on a cruise tomorrow where I will be giving some talks to the passengers. Hoping to work on the book while there.

I have wanted to write a non-fiction book for some years now and have even begun to do so a couple of times. I have written and published a novel once and a translation of a novel, but never a book in English, and have never got round to writing a non-fiction book.

I want to go at it step by step.

Got a book about the history of Psychedelic Rock (as I want to write about A Band). Not to the band yet, but the Pink Floyd chapters were great.

One person did write some of the book I want to write. So I’m ordering his book and going to read it and see how far into it he got, and what I should cover instead.

Have gather enough materials for my book. So far finished writing preface and introduction. Started writing chapter 1 today.

For umpteen years I have procastinated on writing a nonfiction book. I am glad I finally started writing one on 5th May 2007. Hope to publish it by the end of 2007.
25 May 2007 – Have the contents listed out. Writing 3 pages per
day regarding health.

Started to get together an outline for my book even created a preface for the book and the idea behind what has inspired me to write about this topic.

I’ve decided the topic and written an outline. YAY!
