eleryth is back to the grind
I’ve looked and looked and looked online for a sensei in the Chicago area, with very little luck. I did email the JASC about lessons, but they didn’t get back to me. I emailed them again, and did get a response; they said the studio that offers lessons will contact me. That was a week ago. I guess I’ll have to give them a call and see if I can get more information.
It’s the Fujima Classiscal Dance Studio, and luckily, it’s not too far away on public transportation, so that should be doable, as long as it’s not on a night that I have class.
If dance doesn’t pan out, I guess I could try and find another art of some sort; I’ve been looking for tea ceremony (at least I’d get to wear kimono to that!), but I can only find lessons for about $100/month, which I can’t afford right now (only two lessons). Tried to find taiko, but that’s on Tuesday nights, so I can’t make it due to classes.
Something will work out if I keep looking!
