I did this first when I was 8, and since then I have done it 3 more times! it is the most unbelievable feeling in the world!

More "How I Did It" stories
How I did it: Eight long and sometimes boring weeks of rehearsing, two nights a week. 10 performances, one full of raucous friends. Kept a relatively low profile, and bit my tongue many times when the more "serious" backstage types acted as the fun police. Read how I did it…
How I did it: My mum found an ad in a newspaper for an am-dram society,I wasn't very keen at the time, but my my mum made me understand that I would enjoy it, and it was great! I have been acting with them ever since. Read how I did it…

DocD is working on time travel.
I started on stage when I was very young. First, community theaters, then moved up to pro stage. Studied drama in highschool and acted in every production they had, won best actor award my seior year. Majored in drama in university, stage and TV acting, while still finding time to act in pro productions off campus. Moved to Hollywood, joind SAG and AFTRA, did a lot of TV and film, and the occational stage show. Moved to Tokyo where I acted in many films, TV dramas (was on a daily TV show for 11 years), commercials, and 2 of Tokyo’s broadway stages. Was declared a Tokyo Super Star by the Tokyo Journal. No need to limit yourself to one country. Italy, England, Hong Kong and Brazil need American actors.
I think I will achieve this goal this next school year because I’m joining 6th Grade Drama Club. I really want to get the lead. Pray for me! :) <33
ih8pees is writing his vows (giggle)
sometimes i forget how blessed with talents i am, and lucky i am to have a god that loves me this much
that’s what my friends outside theatre would say about me. but my long time friends, those who knew me from ‘back home and back then’ never would have thought of that. they were so shocked and amused when they found out i joined the drama club. but in the end, guess who’s laughing now?
I have been told that I am actually a good actress. I have also been given the oppotunity to get a place at a youth theater group, all I need to do, I think, is go to an audition to get in and then go up and stage in a play. Hopfully, if i get it, if I do this will open up alot more oppotunitis for me as well.

now there are many people in the world who go “oh i really want to be a famouse actress…how cool would that be!” but thats not what i say.
It wouldnt be ‘ccol’ it would be amazing! i want to experience that amazing scared feeling that i get every time i walk onto a stage. I wan to make a difference and be remembered for something. I wan to dye when i am old knowing that people in the next generation will know my name. If the one thing i accomplish within my life is playing a memerable part in either a stage perfomance(which i love because of the excitment) or being in a film(which is something i would love to do as i love graphics and computer animation) than i will be happy!
I’ve done a little bit of acting in high school and college but never really got good because I was focussed on music. I think if I hadn’t started singing I would have totally ran with acting instead. So why not start doing both?
My debut was in a play called “Lemonade” as Mabel, a drunk from the sixties who found lying about her life more interesting than living it.
