I was willing to hold out until the Christmas shopping season, but the husband didn’t want to wait that long.

I didn’t intend to do this…
Our TV died just before we went on vacation. It’s been about a month now. We’ll get another one, just because we’ll miss watching movies. We’re just not in much of a hurry.
It is kind of nice not having the distraction.

2.5 years, no TV. Time to get a TV, to watch movies. I have very little interest for general TV shows, but may watch Jay Leno to hone my humor skills.

I haven’t had a tv in the house for 5 months. I have never missed it. It is definitely worth it…there is so much entertainment and educational material on the net anyway, but my next aim is to cut down on my excessive internet usage!

I’m pretty sure I’m over the T.V thing, I plan to cut it out for a year-and it doesn’t strike me as any great aim, if I don’t see a TV guide I don’t know what’s on, if I don’t know what’s on then I’m not tempted. SWITCH OFF WHILE YOU STILL CAN, THERE ARE LIVES TO BE LED!
