the best I can do with my space. My balcony is chocked full of containers, flowers and herbs. I’ll bring some in and perhaps plant some more when it gets cold outside…

all of the culinary (vs. medicinal/ornamental) seeds. My plan is to hang a flourescent light in front of the window for supplmental light and get those babies going soon. I need to find some pots and some soil next time I’m out. then I’ll start another batch in flats after those get established for transplanting to the yard in the spring/summer.
to think about this stuff when there is snow on the ground. I want it to be well planned though. I’ll start the seedlings say in February or March inside and start planning the design. I have room over near my pussy willows and bamboo on the side yard. I think that will work nicely, there are already a few herbs there, yarrow and some sort of mint.
I have a ton of seed packages, all kinds of common and exotic herbs I bought to experiment. I always go overboard. I wonder if I should start them indoors this winter under a grow light?
Research each herb carefully before even opening the package, instead of the gung ho method I’ve used in the past.
