How I did it: Jabber away, once you start and learn how to talk to people (for me, again) it doesn't totally go away.
So many good opportunities come when you open up and talk to people. It's how I got into yoga, praying with a group of Muslims, a research project, tutoring, met all my friends, ended up playing chess again, and who knows what else. Opportunities come from doors other people open for you, so you have to talk to them and get them to open the door for you. Read how I did it… 18 months ago
