everything is so expensive now! i haven’t oil painted since collage. i bought some paints and gesso but forwent canvas and stretchers because of the price. i just gessoed some posterboard to paint on.

My Great Aunt taught me to paint when I was about 5 years old, and I painted a picture every year up until I was 14, I’m 21 now and miss that tradition, even more so now since she passed away, I just haven’t had the time or money to pick it up again.
But, I promise that by the end of next year I will have started my next “masterpiece”...lol
