Conniggetsmother is working her lists
Revisited 1-11-09
How I did it: This took me several hours spaced out over the course of 3 days, maybe 8 hours total.
My sister and I share a bathroom; it has two separate counters, each with several drawers and cupboards, but somehow all our stuff was overflowing anyway.
I started by going through all the stuff in the bathroom - EVERYTHING. Emptying out all the drawers and throwing out anything that I didn't use or anything old or suspicious (dry mascaras, off-smelling lotions, whatever), or bottles that had too little left to save.
Then, I got organizing materials - drawer organizers meant for pens & other office supplies work really well for makeup. I have a HUGE makeup collection, and my sister has some of her own makeup as well, so it took 2 drawer organizers to keep all the makeup in, but it's so much better than lumping it all in a drawer loose or in a plastic bin.
Then I just grouped like with like, and organized the drawers that way; body lotions in one drawer, hair products in another, hairbrushes in another, etc.
After all that, the actual cleaning is the easy part.

my arms are sore from scrubbing the walls and the ceiling, and my stomach is a bit turned from the nastiness.
somehow i’ve been assigned the task of disposing of the mold that’s accumulated on our bathroom ceiling. i am by far the shortest member of the house. oh well. c’est la vie.
with my hectic travel schedule lately and lazy housemates the bathroom is becoming super nasty and needs to be sanitized post-haste.

Because today it is merely a little dirty and ready to be cleaned as opposed to being utterly filthy and desperately in need of cleaning. Therefore it will be an easier job than the last time.
