Reduce the clutter in my home

I’m sure there is quite a bit more that I can get rid of, but I think I’m really mostly there. I just need to keep resisting WalMart and spending my spare cash that is burning a hole in my pocket. Also, the one thing coming in, at least one going out principle should help an awful toward reducing my clutter quotient.

I never knew one kid could have so many pairs of tights. She has them in every color of the rainbow. I only found three or four that were too small or in bad enough shape to get rid of, but at least now they are neat and not crammed in there all willy-nilly. I did pitch a whole bunch of underwear. She is turning 7 next months and she still had pairs from her potty-training days! It sure feels good now that it’s done. One less thing on my list of stuff to declutter—Whew!

Yep, that’s right. I’ve actually made some progress here. Empiracally and relatively quite a bit….though percentages are a little disappointing.

It’s very slow – working on just a single room at a time; culling the clutter, organizing what remains and then integrating whatever is being kept of Mom’s stuff. But, it is progress!
