get my nape pierced

I’ve been thinking about this for a while, I really want to get it done soon with three star shaped dermals… I think that it would be relatively painless and look pretty awesome. Specially seeing as I recently cut all my hair off outta boredom haha.

I got this done about 6 months ago after wanting to do so for about 2 years. It has not rejected yet, and seems to be doing pretty well. I would recommend doing this!! It doesn’t nearly as much as some other things I have like the rook…and it looks great! I got blue jewels on the end of mine. Also if you have long hair, it is very easy to hide, no one even knows I have it unless I wear my hair up or tell them. My Dad didn’t even know about it for months until I told him, (he didn’t care anyway) So, overall if you’re thinking of doing this I would have to say go for it, because I have had no problems and even after 6 months I’lll think about and still be excited as ever to say “I have the back of my neck pierced!!”

I was really scared going into the shop because I thought it would be really painful, but tbh ,it hurt less then having my ears pierced ! :)

The only time it hurt was for a split second when he pierced it, and then placed the jewellery in :]

It looks and feels as thought it has healed well , although I went to a different piercing shop today to have my tongue done and he advised me to take it out as it had the wrong jewellery in it :(

So I’m planning to take it out so it can heal and have it re done ,because I think I will miss it a lot if I don’t have it re-done :(

So I would advise you to look around all the piercing studios in your area before you decide where to have it done and make sure the place where you have it done ,the piercer has good experience with suface piercings.

But yeah, its a great little piercing, and looks really sexy on anyone, so I would definitely recommend it to anyone , especially anyone who wants something unusual or someone body who does not deal with pain to well :)

i got my friend who does piercings to do mine for 30 dollars.
it’s doesnt hurt at all, it just felt really hot from the pressure
so if you’re anxious about the pain, dont.
it’s not that bad and i was able to sleep on it the first night,
i forgot it was even there.
it’s also a nice conversation starter, so yeah.
go for it.

my cartilage and navel piercings hurt more, and it’s behind you so no peeking :)

I’ll probably get it done next time I have money. But first I’m buying my best friend a septum piercing if he doesnt buy cigarettes for 5 weeks (its been three!)

I got my done two days ago..and so far it is doing very well=) the pain is NOTHING. This is probably the piercing I was most terrified for (It was my 19th). I can’t even describe how it barely hurt at all! The guy who does all my piercings is sooo good and he did it without a clamp and it looks perfect. He also made the jewelry himself (I heard the type of surface bar I have is more likely not to reject… the one that looks like a long flat U)I am sooo much more in love with it than I even thought I would be=) Im already thinking about another…I was a longer one under this one. Also… the guy does all my piercings, so I always get discounts, and I got my nape for $20!! Currently I have … 4 lobes, 3 cartilages, upperhelix, tragus, anti-tragus, rook, industrial, tongue, tongue webbing, bellybutton, 2 under my bellybutton, and now my nape=) …bottom line..LOVE IT.

I’ve wanted my nape strickly for a year.
But i didn`t have any parental permission :(
so i searched for monthssss, trying to find a place that i could get away with getting it pierced underage (14).
Last week, i met a girl who had several piercings underage.
I asked her where she had got them, and turned out to be that he brother owned a piercing& tattoo parlour.
So she brought me to get it done :)
another sweet thing was, that cost of my nape was originally 90 but i got it done for 60 !!

Next week i`m going back to get my tongue to add to my piercing collection xD

I really want to get my nape pierced.
I have been thinking about getting it done off and on for about 3 years now.
I’m really starting to take it seriously and i’m doing all the research I can.
I’m 17 yrs. old.
But I already have 8 tattoos, I have 9 piercings in each ear … Not counting my gauges which are at 1/2 inch.
And I have my lip pierced.

I know nape piercings have like a high rejection rate. Which is one of my main worries.
I do seem to handle pain pretty well… But with this piercings, pain is something i’m also very worried about.

So can someone please tell me how bad it hurts?
Also how long does it take to heal .. If it does heal?
Just anyone give me as much info as you can about it.
