Learn to do mehndi

I could really use one.

note to self: get $24.95 +tax on your credit card, and order a henna tattoo kit.

I want to practice doodling in my sketchbooks, and then henna my hands and feet :)

but it didnt turn out to well. In a bit of a drunken stupor I made the nozzle too big which means I have a huge and interesting (read; horrible) pattern on bith legs. But hey so does Peppermint cream, well misery likes company. Not sure if shes gonna forgive me for making her unable to wear skirst in the hottest week of the year, ooops sorry love. Still it is a start and I AM going to get better.

haven’t done it in ages, I even got some black mehndi when I was in Goa, and haven’t tried it out yet.

i gave my daughters their own little mehndi markings so they wouldn’t feel left out. i did a Japanese symbol for imagination on my arm. I used the stuff more like a tattoo marking than a classical mehndi mark.

but i will do this again i am sure.

and it is so beautiful, I was beside myself with glee at how wonderful it was. I’d like to be able to do it for everyone I know.
