Cystic Fibrosis Foundation

I am doing this, I am part of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and am raising money for this cause by hosting fun events. My goal with the foundation is to raise $1500, but I would really like to raise $3000.
So far I have $920, I held an event at a dance studio and have another similar event in September. I will need to hold a few more happy hours to get people involved and also send out an email/letter for sponsorship.
Any ideas for fundraising events would be greatly appreciated.
What are you doing to help charities?
