I haven’t been out of the US. There’s a big world out there and I really want to see it. (Of course, goal #1 needs to be completed first before I start planning any big trips.:)

I give up on this goal. I’ve decided going to Antarctica is not really worth it. I have too many concerns about the environment and how tourism is having a huge and horrible effect.
Some things are more important than seeing amazingly beautiful places. There are other wondrous things to look at elsewhere that will take more than a lifetime to see.
It’s just amazing the culture, food, geography, etc. that one can experience in a lifetime. I’ve been fortunate to have traveled internationally on business, but I still have a couple of continents to go.
So here I begin my goal. I was born and have always lived in North America. I have visited Mexico, but unlike many people, I definitely consider that part of North America. I visited Europe once when I was nine. That puts me at 2 out of 7, with South America, Asia, Africa, Australia, and Antarctica remaining.
I would imagine that I am going to visit Europe again before I manage to check anything else off the list. I want to visit Belize, but as it is part of Central America, that again does not check anything new off.
We’ll see. Perhaps I’ll need to pick particular countries to check off so I feel better.
I have visited Europe (doh I live here), and Africa. Three to go! I am most excited about America. Escpecially South-America. I have dreamed about going there for years now.
Europe – need more action
South America – not yet
North America – not yet
Africa – not yet

1. North America – DONE

RicBruce up too late again
South America, Asia, North America, Africa, and Europe. Two to go.
I might be cheating a bit since I’ve already been to four out of seven continents, but two of the remaining three will be quite difficult. So far I have visited (or lived in) North American, Europe, Asia and Australia/South Pacific. Yet to be visited are South America, Africa and Antarctica. As I geographer I have problems with the seven continent paradigm, but for simplicity’s sake, I have three to go.
crazylil 10 days!!!
Europe (ignoring Great Britain) – 3 times (France, Spain, Bulgaria)
North America – 4 times (Florida twice, California, New York)
South America – 0 times (Going to Rio De Janeiro in 3 weeks!!!)
Asia – 0 times
Africa – 0 times
Antartica – 0 times
Australia – 0 times
I’ve got a bit of travelling to do!
