own a goat and make cheese

Our local goat dairy was recently hiring. True, the vacancy was basically to muck goat-poop, but I would have been there, willing foot in the door, eager to learn how to make cheese whenver they might have let me. Unfortunately, I don’t have a car, and the dairy is nowhere near a busline; oh well. I can make this happen on my own, someday…

I have goats, they are pets with benefits! they are as loving and friendly as a dog, and give you milk to make cheese, yogurt, and soap, AND they do not need a lot of room, many suburban areas allow 1 to 3 goats (mine is 3) some restrict to does only (bucks are a little stinky) I am happy to share my experience with anyone wanting to give it a try!
