I’ve dated two… one was too much of an artist and lived in his own world made of mental aloofness, addictions and so on…

I’m living with another now! and he’s just the man!

But remember, it all depends on the artist you date! My husband is a funny, loving, responsible, all-around good guy who just happens to be an artist. I’ve also dated a couple of troubled, flakey people who happened to be artists. Don’t compromise your ideals and self-respect just so you can say you’re dating an artist. That is most definitely NOT worth it.

I did once for a brief time, until I got involved with the man I am with now. More and more I think of what I gave up…
