I just tried, and now I can actually do a push-up. I most certainly wasn’t in proper form, but I didn’t even bend my knees. I think can handle that.
The achievement was most likely from the addition of yoga poses involving arm strength to my daily stretching routine.
Who knows, if I keep this up, I might be able to do 2 push-ups soon.
I used to be able to do push-ups. Honestly. Now I can’t even do a knee push-up.
Years of neglecting upper body strength exercises have taken their toll on my arm muscles (or lack there-of now).
Being able to do this will allow me to achieve later goals, so let’s see what I can do.
Granted, you have to have done this at some point in your life, but I really can’t say it’s worth it. However, at least for guys, doing push-ups regularly is really worth it, even for those smart enough that they don’t need to be strong.
